I’m usually one of those people who answers ‘Almost everything’ to the question ‘What kind of music do you listen to?’ so obviously I fell in love with this site almost immediately. Diana Miller is a Talent Executive at NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly and it’s evident that she’s the right person for the job as her discerning taste in music comes across loud and clear. Her site features anything from indie bands to europop and fresh voices from all genres so I’m pretty sure you’ll find something you’ll like too.
The great thing about her is the refreshingly unpretentious tone she uses to introduce new artistes, the latest tracks and unpolished gems – perfect for the newbie who needs to break away from Britney Spears (hey we all like a little Britney now and then. Oh it’s just me? Okay then.) and wants an accessible and non-intimidating introduction to not-so-mainstream music.
If you’re bored with your current playlist, ilistentoeverything.com is the place to go to discover new musical obsessions. She uploads her playlist onto the site as well, so this is convenient for anyone who wants to have a quick listen before stealing those songs for your own iPod.
