I never fail to be amused/entertained/amazed/in love with something/someone each day that I am out and about the streets of Sydney. Last Friday, while waiting for the lights to change at the traffic light, the very platinum blonde hair of the young Asian female driver caught my eye. The girl, probably in her early 20’s, was driving her silver C class Mercedes. Okay, no judgment there. The lights changed to green, she made the left turn. P-R-A-D-A-A.
What did I just see? Oh yes, a licence plate that spelt out Prada with an extra ‘A’.
I thought: “So flashy. Why not spell out C-H-A-N-E-L instead? Six letters, without any misspellings.” For now, I wonder – what would some Singaporeans spell out if such licence plates were allowed? I’m too scared to think of the possibilities..
