A week ago, a couple of my friends were talking about accommodation for our trip to Vienna, when one suggested couch surfing.
Couch surfing?
Basically, you log on to this website and scroll through a list of people who are willing to host you in their apartment for the period of your stay, for free.

I’m proud to say I’ve tried it!
We were really lucky to have found a really nice host and his room-mates were amazing too! They cooked for us, made beds for us, offered us towels and also let us sample just about the best liqueur have ever tried in my life; Barenjager, which is a German Honey Liqueur.
Tip: Choose your host wisely( good looking guys are not always the best host :) ) , pimp up your profile page (if people know you better they are more likely to pick you to stay over.)
There’s always some risk involved, but let’s have some faith in the trust system, shall we?
